Lorax Energy Systems is working with our customers to install these advanced wind turbines in the following applications:

Wind - Diesel:

The smaller wind turbines (25 - 250 kW) are well suited for reducing diesel power station generating costs in remote areas.  They are available with special controls to allow the turbine to work well with the existing power system.  The use of wind turbines in this application can significantly reduce the high cost of providing power on islands or in remote towns.

 On Site Power Production:

Our wind turbines are well suited to reduce power costs at grid connected industrial, educational, municipal, and agricultural facilities. Locating the wind turbine on site and "after the meter" will displace expensive utility power, provide excellent wind system economics, and give the owner a very short return on wind turbine capital investment.

Large Scale Wind Farm Production:

The Fuhrlaender multi-megawatt class wind turbines are highly respected for their rugged construction and low maintenance costs.  These machines are well suited for wind farm projects which require high producing, low maintenance wind turbines to give the best return for the investment dollar.
